We discovered the Ilha de Itamaracá very much by chance when we were traveling in Brazil.  We had been looking for that elusive holiday destination where we could buy our own dream holiday home and instantly we fell in love with the Island. Its friendly people, beautiful beaches, a tranquil and undiscovered place to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures. Its been ten years since we first visited and finally in 2017 we took the decision to move from our home in the United Kingdom and live here full time.
